Hon. Idris Rufus Oluwafemi Condemns Recent Murders in Odo-Ape, Calls for Swift Justice


Hon. Idris Rufus Oluwafemi has strongly condemned the recent murders of two people in Odo-Ape, Bunu. The victims, Sunday Aiyedero and a Tiv man living in Odo-Ape, were killed by unknown attackers, leaving the community in shock.

In his statement, Hon. Oluwafemi expressed serious concern over the increasing violence and urged both the people of Bunu and the authorities at all levels to take immediate action to improve security in the area. He stressed that such acts of brutality should not be tolerated and must be met with swift justice.

“I am deeply disturbed by the senseless killings in Odo-Ape,” Hon. Oluwafemi said. “The deaths of Sunday Aiyedero and the Tiv man are unacceptable and have disrupted the peace of our community. We must come together, both as a people and as a government, to ensure that those responsible are brought to justice.”

He added, “My condolences go out to the families of the victims and the people of Odo-Ape. We will not allow this violence to define us. Together, we will ensure that justice is served, and that Odo-Ape, along with the wider Kabba/Bunu area and Kogi state, remains a safe place for all.”
